What I Watched - "Anaconda: Hunt for the Blood Orchid"

With lowered expectations any movie can be awesome. Sure Anaconda: Hunt for the Blood Orchid has a contrived and hack premise, a stoic to the point of stiff hero, only average special effects and predictable scares, but when you go in expecting all that you're in for a wild ride. Kadee Strictland is back from being murdered under the covers in The Grudge to lead an expedition into The Amazon to find a rare orchid which has rejuvenative properties for her cosmetics company. When the boat that she and her teams rents goes over a waterfall (which unlike a certain scene in the original is falling down) her group must travel through the jungle with giant anaconda hot on their heals. In addition to the giant snake there is also a really scary spider and adorable little monkey. What more could anybody ever want out of a movie ever?
