My Latest Obsession

Dude, I've been doing this a while. No need to point.

I first noticed Val Emmich as the May to Liz Lemon's December on 30 Rock last season. While this role should have been a throw away part for a cute boy who we would never see again, there was something about Val that piqued my interest. Perhaps it was the full lips, or eyes the size of an anime character, or dimples (crassly referred to as d*&% dents by some, not me) but I think it's something much more. That certain something that some refer to as The IT Factor is the obvious answer. Most recently Emmich was the object of Betty's affection on Ugly Betty. Although the character was a self-obsessed fool, Emmich's natural charm shone through like a brilliant, shining beacon of goodness from the heavens. Although it appears as though Emmich is taking time away from movies and television to focus on his music, I can only hope that others see the physical and indefinable perfection that is Val Emmich and get him back in front of the cameras toot sweet.
